In a number of environment related procedures, including (i) an EIA procedure which included a public hearing initiated in connection with the privatisation sale of the Bearings Plant, a self-standing unit of Vazov Machine Building Plants, town of Sopot, and (ii) a procedure initiated before the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Waters with respect to determining the Bulgarian State’s liability for past environmental damages caused at or prior to the above specified privatisation sale, as well as in subsequent litigation involving the liability of the Bulgarian State for cleanup of contaminated sites.
