Anton has acted for both public and private sector clients in both litigation and M&A projects and has developed, more specifically, an impressive expertise in the transport & infrastructure and energy and WSS sectors. He has extensive expertise in energy and utilities, including power generation, distribution, trade in electricity and gas, transportation of oil & gas and construction of new power facilities. Anton has led an impressive number of projects in the transport sector related to infrastructure, such as the tender procedure for the Sofia Airport concession, numerous projects related to the rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure, etc.
Involvement in recent representative projects:
- Advised ContourGlobal on the acquisition of Enel’s 908 MW lignite fired thermal power plant.
- Advised one of the bidders for the Sofia Airport concession extensive tender process (approx. EUR 3.898 billion indicative project budget).
- Advised Hitachi Solutions Co. Ltd. in relation to the Bulgarian law and M&A aspects of the acquisition of ABB Power Grids business.
- Advises GENERAL ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL INC. in relation to numerous public procurement procedures and European Structural Investment Funds aspects of tenders.
